So I was tired of trying to motivate Izaac and finally had to threaten him... I said you are going to be grounded if you dont just get the cats fed. They have been meowing like crazy for a long time. He asked what would he be grounded from... I thought what would really truely motivate him. I said,"You will be grounded from Tanner." He got tears in his eyes and got the job done... how sweet....and I am also glad he got it done cuz if he wouldve been grounded from Tanner, Tanner wouldve felt grounded also.
So my visiting teacher was over today and she works at an old folks home down the road, she said there are always a few people left on Thanksgiving that dont have a place to go... so you know me, now I have been working on setting up for whoever is left to come to our house, on Monday night we will go visit whoever we are planning on bringing so they wont be nervous, and I will have to contact the families to make sure it is alright. I was trying to think of what to do when they are here so they could take back a little souvenir.. I think thankful trees or turkeys would be good that we all add too... so we shall see how my scheming pans out.
So we got familiy pictures taken yesterday... what a nightmare. I underestimated how long it truely takes to get my whole family picture ready.... I had almost everything laid out the night before.. but then  the piles sort of disappeared... we ended up finding all the missing belts and ties and shoes.... but not without me loosing it in the end... of course Ethan pooping upstairs in the bonus room and Natalie stepping in it and then walking to me downstairs to tell me about it didnt help... oh, and we still cant find Tanners belt.. and didnt I say get in here so I can fix your hair??? How did Ethan just pee all down his dress pants and socks when he has a diaper on this time??? Sweet Izaac got the hugest zit on his cheek. He cried everytime I came close, all the kids thought I was THE meanest person in the world when I nicked the white top off and Izaac cried for 10 min... really? Then we had to use coverup.. bytheway, hes never had a zit... Jasons wound on his face broke open and started bleeding after 4 days of being closed... oh, and I was buying a used mattress from a guy down in Draper right by the photo place, and so I wanted Jason to figure out a trailer to bring it back in.... hmmm maybe miscommunication.... soo anyhow, Carl was here at the climax, Im sure he was making a mental note to never get family pictures when he gets married....
Ends up we were 30 min late for our 45 min slot... luckily they spend an extra almost 10min with us... but still it was crazy.. .Ethan had just woken up from a nap and Samantha was in a zone... but somehow my kids can pull it off, and the pictures look like we were just relaxing eating grapes and telling jokes... sigh... I am sooo  glad to be done with that....
so on to the new project... I want to get a new comforter for my bed so I can use mine up on the other bed.... I was freaking out at a comforter set at target for 100$, now that Ive been shopping for a while I have become desensitized and now I want a 200$.. seriously people, its a blanket... but the nice looking ones of course are a fortune!! welp, I really wanted to watch the movie I rented at Redbox on Saturday night.... seriously, story of my life... redbox is not really a good deal for us...
